Cuz it came up in AIM. Please pass this along to those in need.

If you buy an anarchy t-shirt in the mall, it no longer symbolizes anarchy. It can, however, be an amusing ironic statement, but only if you know what anarchy actually is. If you don't, please don't prance around with the shirt on and think you're all punk and shit for you annoy me and I'd like you to stop.

If you buy "designer safety pins" to decorate your clothing or your face, you are a loser in the conformist cesspool of vapid consumerism. I don't care if you stick them through every orifice on your body - you're still a sheep.

If you were hired at your local Hot Topic it symbolizes the following, and only the following: You wear clothing that was hardcore and avant wow 20 years ago, but at this point, can be found in practically every mall in America.

Here's a tip - if it can be found at practically every mall in America, you no longer are expressing your individuality. You are expressing your ability to use a credit card and to match black with black. You are not hipper than anyone else. You don't have your black nail polished finger on the pulse of the alternative world. You work at the mall. There's nothing wrong with working at the mall. However, unless you're working at the Sanrio shop and can give me a discount on all things Hello Kitty, you are not cooler than everyone else.

Save the smirk, appreciate the employee discount, and get over yourself.

That is all.
