WTF Ever
Once Elected, Palin Hired Friends and Lashed Foes

So when there was a vacancy at the top of the State Division of Agriculture, she appointed a high school classmate, Franci Havemeister, to the $95,000-a-year directorship. A former real estate agent, Ms. Havemeister cited her childhood love of cows as a qualification for running the roughly $2 million agency.

I love trees. Can I head the EPA, Sarah? Huh? I promise to suck up.

Throughout her political career, she has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and sometimes blurred the line between government and personal grievance, according to a review of public records and interviews with 60 Republican and Democratic legislators and local officials.

Nice to know that Mr. Character cares so much about the country that he's grabbed onto this creature as his running mate.

Change in Washington? The only change is McCain in his desperate attempt for power and his willingness to go against everything he's declared he stands for. But I guess that was in 2000, before he got the Specter of Death at the foot of his bed reminding him now or never, Johnny, go for broke! Oh, and break as many of your promises, vows, and declarations as you possibly can. It's worth it to get your name on the roster of Presidents of the United States for however long you can!

You know I wouldn't have an issue with the white women jumping on the McCain train now that Palin is the VP if the woman he picked as his running mate had some goddamned character. Where the hell is Olympia Snowe or Susan Collins or Kay Bailey Hutchison? Oh, right, those women wouldn't woo the Social Conservatives. They're just women with ethics and strength and intelligence and experience.

WTF.

Mindblowing. And frightening. I have a bank account, can I apply to run the treasury?

I once looked at a handful of sample LSAT questions! Can I be a Supreme Court justice?
